Photographic Tuition Day I was asked if I could give some Photographic tuition to a couple of people I know who have taken up an interest in photography. I had a great time in taking them through the very basics of photography, up to taking some great pictures of a Caterham 7 sportscar (R400 Superlight). Using nothing more than a Canon 1Ds Mk111 Camera, four Canon Flash Guns on cheap Lighting Stands, a Tripod and some Wireless Triggering Systems. The pictures were taken in what would seem like a very boring location, a carpark by a playing field. This was the first time I had ever undertaken a Photographic Tuition Day and I must say that it was very enjoyable. I am also glad that given the adverse weather conditions we also managed to have a break in the middle of the afternoon, that was long enough to put into practice the theory from the morning. All in all it was a very good day and seeing that I enjoyed it so much, I might do some more Tuition Days in the future. Regards Jamie |
